Keep the device well out of reach of children and animals. Do not use the device near locations that are sensitive to radio interference (aircraft, hospitals, ...). Do not store or operate the device in locations that may be subjected to damp, steam, high humidity, dust, sunlight, ultraviolet, gamma and X-rays.
Follow the instructions indicated in fig. 1:
Press together buttons 1 and 3 for approximately 3 seconds, until LED starts to flash quickly.
Release all buttons.
Press 1 time the button where you wish to duplicate the original remote control.
Wait that LED becomes steady ON, hold the original remote control overlapped approximately 1cm from ACLUS and start to transmit by pressing and holding the button on your existing remote.
When duplication is complete, the ACLUS LED will flash:
3 times, for a fixed code
6 times, for a rolling code
Duplication procedure for another sender restart now from point 3.
To verify that ACLUS has learned the original code successfully, you should confirm that the gate/garage operator works correctly after duplication by pressing the desired button on ACLUS.
Note: some unknown codes can be duplicated by ACLUS following the same instructions as above by pressing buttons 1 and 2 together instead of 1 and 3 and carrying out the same procedure: this way no check is made in the code format, care should be taken because the duplicated code may be wrong. Also, duplication from another compatible remote control may be impossible while it's possible to duplicate the original one!
While pressing the button to transmit, ACLUS will notify you of low battery status in two ways:
Visually: the LED remains ON instead of blinking.
Refusing transmission: the button should be repeatedly pressed until a transmission occurrs.
Please note that the status of battery changes with the temperature: low temperature leads to a lower battery voltage!
When the battery becomes flat, replace it with a new CR2032 LiMn 3V battery.
To change the battery, open the enclosure; refer to fig. 3:
Insert the tip of a small screwdriver into the slot at the bottom.
Move the screwdriver to the left, so that it rises slightly the bottom edge of the enclosure.
Re-insert the tip of the screwdriver in the slot at the bottom, then go up to raise the right edge of the enclosure, and along the top edge to raise the enclosure completely.
Lift out the printed circuit board, then pull out the battery and fit a new one.
Insert the printed circuit board and close the enclosure.
Keep the battery well out of reach of children. Call a doctor immediately if the battery is swallowed. The battery should never come in contact with other metallic objects as this may discharge the battery and may burn or damage both battery and ACLUS. Damaged or flat batteries should be disposed of correctly. Do not dispose of battery with standard household refuse.
